The famous rotating Carousel Bar at Hotel Monteleone
I am pleased to make the next Type-A Advanced announcement. Type-A Advanced New Orleans will be held on October 19, 2013 at the Hotel Monteleone (booking will be available soon at $269/night for double occupancy). I have personally stayed at the hotel and it is just stunningly beautiful (pictured is the famous rotating Carousel Bar in the lobby), its location is amazing (right in the heart of the French Quarter), not to mention it is one of only three US hotels designated an official literary landmark.

Type-A Advanced are smaller, intensive one-day conferences geared at experienced bloggers. They will have high-quality sessions on a variety of topics related to blogging, business and social media, as well as one laser-focus track on a specific topic.
For the New Orleans event, that focus will be:
VISUALIZE
This means there will be one track concentrated exclusively on photography, iPhoneography, photo editing, blog design, creating great pin-worthy images and graphics, and the boom in visual social networks like Instagram and Pinterest. We will kick off the night before the conference, and attendees will get hands-on, in-the-field learning during a photowalk in New Orleans’ highly photogenic French Quarter. Bring any camera, from phonecam to point-and-shoot to SLR!
